Mrs. Min Edwards, Tucker Middle School Band Director
Mrs. Min Edwards has been a faculty of Tucker Middle School since 2008. She has experiences of teaching Band, Orchestra, and Music Appreciation classes. Under the direction of Mrs. Edwards, TMS 7th/8th Grade Symphonic Orchestra received All-Superior ratings from GMEA (Georgia Music Educators Association) Large Group Performance Evaluation from 2011 to 2016. TMS 7th/8th Grade Symphonic Orchestra received Excellence ratings from GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluation in 2017. TMS 7th/8th Grade Symphonic Band received All-Superior ratings from GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluation in 2017.
A native of Seoul, South Korea, Mrs. Edwards is a 2007 graduate of Georgia State University, where she earned the bachelor of music degree in Music Education. Mrs. Edwards served as a participant of GSU Orchestra, GSU Wind Ensemble, and GSU Chamber Ensemble. Her additional performance experiences include Agnes Scott College Orchestra and Georgia Perimeter College Wind Ensemble. Mrs. Edwards is a proud member of Tara Winds Community Band since 2012 and a proud member of Hanmaum Presbyterian Church Orchestra since 2013. In addition, Mrs. Edwards is a clarinet and saxophone instructor at Peachtree Music and Art Academy since 2014. Mrs. Edward’s primary instrument is clarinet.
Mrs. Edwards holds membership in MENC: The National Association for Music Education, and the Georgia Music Educators Association. She resides in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Mrs. Edwards enjoys spending time with her niece, Madeline and twin nephews, Colin and Connor.

- Traveled and performed in New York City, NY with TMS Symphonic Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Mixed Chorus students in 2013.
- Traveled and performed in Washington, D.C. with TMS Symphonic Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Mixed Chorus students in 2012.
- Traveled and performed in All American Music Festival in Orlando, Florida with TMS Symphonic Band students in 2011.
